  Job Description

Manages system training environment in coordination with IT and vendor partners (e.g. set up of training environment for use, requests for training environment access, refreshing of training environment after training sessions, ad hoc system training delivery). Ensures that training/education programs and course materials related to the system are current and accurate; responds to inquiries from other departments regarding system training requirements and recommendations. 

should have past or current experience working in clinical trial study startup activities, an aptitude for learning new technology, possessing a desire to broaden into an end-user system trainer role, and is familiar with the Veeva Vault system and study startup. 

Train system end users by delivering hands-on user labs and system demonstration presentations. Manage system training environments in collaboration with IT partners. Manage and coordinate system training environment temporary access log-in credentials. Refresh the training environment after each training session in preparation for next session. Coordinate training sessions (registration, communication, tracking of attendance). Provides instructional design in creating, delivering, and maintaining instructor led and eLearning system training programs in support of training initiatives and educational programs. Gains adequate understanding and knowledge of the system and training content. Develops training announcements and confirms training audiences when developing training materials. Evaluates feedback and evaluation data from training programs and makes recommendations for changes to materials. Conducts Lessons Learned post training. Keep current with industry practices as well as GCP regulations/policies. Follows all standard operating procedures as required by the position. Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership. Project management. Liaison with clients, process owners, business owners, quality monitoring and compliance liaisons and SOP developers to ensure training needs are discussed and addressed. 

Required:
Should have:
knowledge of adult learning theory and sound instructional design principles
knowledge of how to design, develop and deliver instructor-led training sessions for maximum impact and retention
technical competency and ability to understand systems and deliver system training; of working knowledge of ICH Guidelines
familiar with FDA regulations and the EU Clinical Trial Directive preferred but not required
familiarity with learning evaluation strategies and how to apply them to an education program
good understanding of client’s business processes and practices; project management
working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Turning Point Audience Response System
Ability to operate in a team environment
current knowledge of industry trends with respect to adult learning theory, learning practices and methodologies; time management skills
