  Job Description

Primary Function:

  • Supports the product development of nutritional liquid and powder products.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture product in pilot facilities (create manufacturing instructions, order and weigh ingredients, assemble batches for processing and fill into containers)
  • Coordinate analytical testing of product (prepare testing protocols, review test results, perform unit conversions)
  • Conduct product evaluations (benchtop observations, analytical assessment of physical properties)
  • Communicate results of experiments via standardized reports (organize data into tables, prepare bills of materials, complete manufacturing run summaries)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
  • An internship or equivalent experience at a food company is preferred.
