Summary:

  • Role is for a 1 year contract for military leave coverage through October 2023.
  • Candidates must live within the Client footprint (OH, WV, PA, MD, and NJ), role will mainly be remote but may need to come onsite 1-2 times.

About the Opportunity:

  • The position is within the Ethics & Compliance group and reports to the Manager, Ethics & Compliance Training & Communications. It can be located in OH, PA, NJ, MD, or WV, with travel as needed.
  • The Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Training & Communications Team will be responsible for executing the E&C training & communications strategies.
  • Responsibilities include establishing the near- and long-term plans for E&C training and communications, working collaboratively with other Client leaders, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the company’s diverse workforce is appropriately trained, and driving consistent and engaging E&C messaging.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing day-to-day Communication initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with Ethics & Compliance leadership and with the Board to develop regular communications to employees that align with Client values, goals, and standards
  • Leveraging various channels of communication (e.g. articles, newsletters, blogs, videos, etc.) to socialize key messages internally and with external parties
  • Writing, editing, and preparing content before distribution
  • Ensuring content is consistent and on-brand across communication channels
  • Tracking the efficacy of communications via surveys and pulse-checks to identify when enhancements or changes need to be made to the communications strategy
  • Working cross-functionally to understand and identify existing and emerging risks related to company policy or laws, rules, and regulations
  • Working cross-functionally to support research and information gathering for Client response to legal and compliance related inquires
  • Engaging cross-business line management with relevant findings to ensure adherence to processes and procedures

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program, college, or university in Business, Accounting, Economics, Communications, Journalism or related discipline required
  • Need Writing Samples, does not need to specific to this role, it can just be a sample from a previous role or college.
  • Minimum five years relevant work experience.
  • Relevant experience includes, communications plan development, campaign design and execution, or similar
  • Ability to identify, develop and implement efficiencies to improve work processes
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Pragmatic with strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
