  Job Description

Work week: Mon to Fri (8:00am to 5:00pm) – Starting in May Summer hours (8:00am to 5:30pm) – 1 hour lunch

Summary
:

  • Responsible for data entry, report creation and admin support to the hiring manager.
  • Daily duties of the store in the backend.
  • Responsible for processing parts orders, open and closed claims billing to credit, invoicing customers on sale of regular parts orders, and handling warranty claims.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes claims and files.
  • Processes warranty return forms.
  • Assists customers by providing warranty information (via phone or email) small volume.
  • Inputs and logs stock orders.
  • Credits customers for paid claims.
  • Calls customers on deleted claims and re-enters new claims.
  • Research all freight bills to determine if billable or non-billable.
  • Submit claims for damaged freight.
  • Possesses knowledge on CATS, and Oracle.
  • Receives and checks written or verbal customer purchase orders.
  • Verifies stock availability and processes shipment orders.
  • Maintains related order files and records.
  • Monitors delivery dates and notifies customers of delays.

MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training
  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal & Written)
  • MS Office Suite knowledge (Excel basic knowledge)
  • Self Starter, motivated, able to work independently

NICE TO HAVE

  • Oracle
  • Billing system (Prophet 21)
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
