In support of Client Solutions:
- Development responsibilities utilizing the following tech stack: Java – Latest version,Spring boot,Oracle,RESTful API, Integrations, ReactJS, Headless CMS,NodeJS, TypeScript
- Communicating with 3rd party vendors
- Requirements documentation,
- Development task assignment and delegation
- Technical specification, design and code Reviews
For other Portal team Application Offerings:
- Provide additional development support for existing applications in the Java tech stack.
- Establish skill redundancy for multiple support projects.
POSITION SUMMARY:
- Under general direction of the Manager of Applications Development or other management level associate, responsible for the development, installation, and maintenance of systems software.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide for system/program development.
- Codes, tests, debugs and documents complex programs, and enhances existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user requirements.
- Develops and maintains application design, program specification documents, and proprietary applications.
- Identifies and resolves system operating programs in order to provide continuous business operations.
- Interacts with user management regarding project status and user requirements to promote an environment with improved productivity and satisfaction.
- Provides technical leadership and training for entry-level team members.
- Assists in scheduling, determining manpower requirements, and estimating costs to project completion in order to meet user requirements.
- Lead the evaluation of software vendors targeted for possible integration into the systems or environment, including strategic applications, tools and utilities.
- Plan and implement both short and long term strategies for retiring certain legacy systems, integrating existing systems and new systems implementation recommendations.
- Acts as a high level technical consultant communicating with vendors for the purpose of requirements gathering and documentation.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree or related experience. 3plus years in a lead development role and 5plus years of development experience. Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience with at least three (3) years in a lead development role. Extensive experience in Java – Latest version, Spring boot, Oracle, RESTful API, Integrations.
- Additionally experience in the following is a plus: ReactJS, Headless CMS – Content Stack Preferred, NodeJS, TypeScript.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Thorough understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
- Familiarity with the Company’s products and resources and prior healthcare industry knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines.
- Ability to use good judgment in conveying project status and problem escalation
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
